Purplex has seen 20 years of constant growth in revenue under Andrew’s leadership. Coming from the streets of Belfast amidst the Troubles, at age 4 he was one of the casualties in an IRA bombing.
Yet by his mid 30’s, Andrew had become an acclaimed entrepreneur, turning around a failing business – Cambrian Windows – which grew from £1M to £12M turnover in just 4 years.
In 2004, Andrew started up Purplex in Weston-super-Mare, creating nearly 100 jobs across the Ascot Group, which also includes Insight Data and Ascot Property Management.
We’re proud to have created nearly 100 jobs in Weston-super-Mare. It’s a seaside resort near Bristol, with long beaches, beautiful woodland, and a vibrant community spirit, surrounded by charming villages.
Purplex is investing in the community, helping to support our local homeless population. We’re working with the charity, Somewhere to Go, which provides resources and training to people on low income and without housing.
